Xiaomi has officially launched its Redmi Note 14 series in India, offering a new lineup of smartphones packed with new features and competitive pricing. The series includes three models: Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. The series runs on HyperOS, based on Android 14, and comes with advanced AI features and AI-enhanced imaging capabilities.

It sports a 6.67-inch flat FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display reaches a peak brightness of 2,100 nits and features an in-display fingerprint sensor, an upgrade over Redmi Note 13’s side-mounted sensor.
Overall, the phone comes with a refreshed design with with slightly curved back panel for a more comfortable grip, which is paired with a redesigned camera module for a modern look. The device comes in three different color options: Phantom Purple, Mystique While, and Titan Black.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, the Note 14 promises efficient performance for daily tasks and moderate gaming. With this chipset, the phone can also remove objects from images, which makes this device an interesting option in its price segment.
The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. For selfies, it houses a 16-megapixel front camera.
The device is backed by a 5,110mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging (up from 33W), ensuring long-lasting performance and quick recharges.
All of this is protected inside an IP64 ingress protection-rated body (upgraded from IP54 on its predecessor), which means the phone can withstand water splashes just fine. In addition to that, the phone also includes the HydroTouch function, which means the touch screen will function normally even in the presence of water on the surface.
Pricing and availability
The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the Redmi Note 14 is priced at Rs 17,999 (original price Rs 18,999), which includes discounts on ICICI and HDFC bank cards. The device will go on sale starting December 13, 2024.
